Global Aviation Infrastructure LLC provides management and advisory services for corporations, airport sponsors, private equity firms and financial institutions. Steven Levesque’s aviation background dates back to 1995, and he has served in numerous leadership capacities in the last 20 years.
Highlights include CFO of an $850 million revenue aerospace company and most recently serving as CEO of a new general aviation services company and Fixed Base Operation (FBO) platform with capabilities in aircraft Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) and Aircraft Charter and Management (ACM). He has led transformational change in the industry in areas such as FBO management, airport management and integrated aviation service offerings among various service segments. Steven Levesque’s international experience includes development and management projects in India, Europe and the Middle East. Focus areas include development and operations of airport infrastructure in the FBO, MRO and ACM areas as well as the development of airport facilities.
From 2010 until 2015, Steven P. Levesque served as president and CEO of leading aviation services company Hawthorne Global Aviation Services in Charleston, South Carolina. From its founding in 2010 he led the company’s growth through the acquisition and development of multiple FBO, MRO, and ACM locations.
He brings more than 20 years of aviation sector experience in the industry, leading companies in strategic development, aviation infrastructure management, and the procurement of fixed base operations across North America. Concurrent to his civilian executive leadership positions in the aerospace industry, Steven P. Levesque recently retired after 25 years active and reserve service in the U.S. Navy, including commanding a commissioned expeditionary combat logistics support unit.
He previously worked at Piedmont Hawthorne Holdings, Inc. for nearly 10 years as senior vice president and chief financial officer. In these roles, he oversaw 40 airport locations throughout both the United States and Canada, oversaw all corporate financial management, including business development, internal growth, and acquisition strategies. he also oversaw the company’s aircraft interior completions and modifications business.
Directed two large change of control transactions that returned 2.5 times and 4.3 times the equity capital invested, respectively.
Significantly increased internal rate of return to shareholders (over 60% on the second change of control).
Steven Levesque holds memberships with several industry organizations, including the National Business Aircraft Association, the National Air Transport Association, The Wings Club and the International Aviation Club of Washington, D.C. An internationally recognized aviation expert, he has been cited in numerous aviation publications, such as Aviation Pros, Airport Business, and Aviation International News.
